The Gro Company Gro-Egg Room Thermometer (Baby Product)

We use this in a room that alternates between freezing cold and Miami, depending on the time of day and how long the radiators take to kick-in. It’s good to have something that shows, at-a-glance, whether we’re in the right temperature zone for a little one, without having to get up close to read LCD numbers in the middle of the night.

I tested this side-by-side with my boiler thermostat, and the numbers are always within 0.2 degrees of each other, so I’m confident this is relatively accurate to be used as a reliable guideline.

It looks nice, too, and emits a calming and unobtrusive colour scheme. Recommended.

Really good compact product. We have the British Gas Hive system in the house but the temperature is taken downstairs so isn’t accurate for baby’s room. This does the trick and also has a nice lighting feature which tells you if the temp is too hot or too cold by using different colours.

We got this as a set with the owl cover for £15 which is much cheaper than the high street. My only gripe and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the display. It’s pretty low quality 80/90’s tech which is a bit disappointing because in low lighting you have basically walk up to it to get the temperature reading!
