Bought this after watching tv chefs use something similar on the Food channels. Fabulous price for it. Ultra fine chopping. A big work saver for my husband lol. Quite easy to clean too, but watch that blade: ULTRA sharp.

This item was purchased in June 2016, bought to replace a Kenwood Mini Chopper (my third in 20 years) which was beginning to fail and this was on standby. I thought I would try a different manufacturer and after looking at the reviews, which appeared to be good at the time, I purchased the Andrew James Compact Mini Food Chopper. So it was not used for a couple of months until after the Kenwood had expired and it soon became apparent that it was utterly unreliable. Sometimes it worked and at other times it didn’t, which was very annoying when under pressure to produce a meal!. Reluctant to replace it after very little usage, I tended to use my larger and less convenient Magimix food processor.until recently, when I gave it another go. It would not work at all. Despite still being under guarantee, I decided to take it to our local re-cycling centre because under no circumstances would I consider having a clone of this machine in my kitchen. I have looked at the reviews again recently and see that my experience has been the same as many other disappointed purchasers. I would not recommend it.
