The Queen has put an unseen photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on display in Buckingham Palace

Just a week after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official wedding portraits were shared around the world, a previously unseen picture of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has been spotted on display in Buckingham Palace.
The framed photo is visible in a still which shows the Honorable George Brandis, the Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, meeting the Queen during a private audience on Wednesday morning. And on closer inspection, the portrait of the newlyweds can be seen on a table to the left of the fireplace.

Although it’s not clear when it was taken, Hello! notes that Harper’s Bazaarcontributor Alexi Lubomirski may have photographed the sweet moment during the couple’s engagement shoot last December.

While Markle was pictured wearing a Ralph & Russo dress in the official engagement portraits, she is posing alongside the prince wearing a pale blue dress in the picture displayed by the Queen. It also looks like this photo was taken inside, while the official photos were taken in the grounds of Frogmore House. Lubomirski was also chosen to be Harry and Markle’s official wedding photographer on 19 May.

Three official wedding photos were shared by Kensington Palace, including one of the couple sitting together on stone steps outside Windsor Castle in a tender-looking moment. Lubomirski revealed he managed to capture the most popular of the official snaps just as the bride and groom were about to head into the reception.
