It heats up toast just fine. And very hot, too for frozen things… but the first couple times I used it, it smelled like the plastic around the metal parts were heating up…. smelled pretty bad. But otherwise, it’s alright!

I cannot believe amazon would sell this product. Plugged it in today, the filaments went red hot and the toast caught fire in about 2 seconds. Then the toaster went bang and stopped heating. But that’s not all. My iPad was charging on an adjacent plug and it went completely dead. I have no idea whether it will work again, and now I have to find a repair shop. This is ridiculous. I wish I could get them to reimburse me for my iPad!
