You’ll never guess where Great British Bake Off’s Prue Leith spends Christmas

All our Christmases have come at once following Prue Leith's revelation that she celebrates Christmas with her Great British Bake Off co-stars.
But who dares cook the Christmas dinner?

While appearing on This MorningBake Off judge Prue spoke about her closeness on screen and off with fellow judge Paul Hollywood and presenters Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding – so much so that they all headed to Sandi's for Christmas last year, and they're going again this year.

"It is true we all went to Sandi's for Christmas," the 78-year-old cookery writer told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

"And we're going to do it again! She made the mistake by offering to let us do it again and instead of us saying, 'Oh, it's our turn'... we said, 'Yes please Sandi, we'll come!' She cooks, she's a very good cook."

When Phil suggested there must be a lot of pressure with so many talented cooks under one roof, Prue said Sandi's not at all fussed – although Prue did admit she interfered with the gravy last time.

"She's not fazed by it at all... and we had a fantastic duck. She says I moved in and made the gravy... which I did!"

On their friendship, she added: "We all like each other and it's great fun. I'm a great fan of Paul because he's so direct.

"I always gabble on but he never wastes a word. He's so professional and Sandi and Noel are exactly the same off stage as they are on stage…

"They are just very funny all the time."

Great British Bake Off continues on Channel 4 at 8pm on Tuesday.
