iPhone Xs Max battery life test Vs latest Android phones

Some of the first battery life tests are in for Apple’s new iPhone Xs Max after launch and some of you may be surprised with the results.

The guys over at Tom’s Guide have put the new $1099 device to the test, specifically on the subject of web browsing when using 4G data and at 150 nits brightness setting.

The results concluded that the iPhone Xs Max was above the smartphone average of lasting over 9 hours, 48 minutes as the iPhone Xs Max managed to last 10 hours and 38 minutes.

This was longer than the iPhone Xs as expected which scored 9 hours and 41 minutes, but surprisingly both were below the original iPhone X which lasted 10 hours and 49 hours which is odd when the Max is supposed to offer superior battery life.

The data also reveals that the iPhone Xs Max lagged behind the latest Android flagship handsets such as the Huawei P20 Pro, Google Pixel 2 XL and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in the same test.

Head to Toms’s Guide for the full analysis. Are you surprised with the results regarding the iPhone Xs Max?
