Destiny 2: Where to find Xur for the weekend of April 19

Seasoned Destiny 2 players know that every Friday they can count on the elusive merchant Xur to make an appearance with special exotic items, but what’s not so clear is where you’ll be able to find him. Below, you’ll find a map with a marker that indicates where Xur is and his list of wares.

If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you’ll need to know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each character class. Lately, he’s also been carrying Fated Engrams, which guarantee players an exotic drop they don’t already have, from the collection of exotics from before the release of Forsaken. As of March 12, 2019, he also sells gear exclusive to Forsaken.

The trouble with Xur is finding him. We always know when Xur will show up — at the daily reset on Friday, so 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern. The question is where Xur is. While previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map each weekend, he’s now unmarked and thus tougher to find each weekend. Here’s where you need to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, and everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week.

Where is Xur and his wares for the week

(April 19 – April 24)

You can find Xur on Earth’s EDZ via the Winding Cove location this week. To get to him, head straight directly out of the spawning zone until you reach a mountain. Look just to the left of the mountain and above and you’ll see a ship. Jump up using the nearby rocks, avoid incoming fire, and you’ll find Xur standing next to the ship at the cliff’s edge.

Here is the exact location:

And here’s what Xur has for wares:

The Wardcliff Coil – 29 Legendary Shards: All players can get The Wardcliff Coil rocket launcher from Xur this week. The weapon offers increased blast radius, stability, and magazine size, and you will automatically reload it whenever you pick up ammunition. Its “Mad Scientist” ability makes it fire volleys of rockets for extra destruction.

(Titans) Hallowfire Heart – 23 Legendary Shards: The Hallowfire Heart chest armor is available to all Titans this week. The armor offers increased resilience and health recovery, as well as reduced flinching while using scout rifles. It also offers an increased chance of finding primary ammunition after each kill, and it improves the recharging rate of your solar abilities. This rate is further improved if your super ability is charged.

(Warlocks) Lunafaction Boots – 23 Legendary Shards: Warlocks get the Lunafaction Boots leg armor from Xur this week. The armor offers increased mobility and resilience, as well as reduced melee cooldown whenever you use your class ability. It also gives you an increased chance of finding primary ammunition after a kill, and your Rifts will reload your allies’ weapons and can make them more powerful at long distance.

(Hunters) Raiden Flux – 23 Legendary Shards: Hunters can get the Raiden Flux chest armor from Xur this week. The armor gives you increased resilience and health recovery, as well as an increased chance of finding primary ammunition after a kill. It also offers reduced flinching while aiming auto rifles and trace rifles, and you can do more damage with quick attacks from the Arc Staff.

Isochronal Engram  — 97 Legendary Shards: You can only buy one of these Engrams per week, per account, but if you’re filling out your exotic collection, it’s worth it. The Isochronal Engram automatically gives you something you’re missing from the Destiny 2 Year 1 exotic set, and now Forsaken as well.

The World — 9 Legendary Shards: Lastly, Xur is offering The World challenge this week. The challenge requires the annual pass and asks you to complete a strike and collect different types of resources.
