The Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour is one of the UK's top attractions.

Every year it sees hundreds of thousands of fans head to Leavesden to see where the magic of the eight films was created.

This year sees the addition of the studio tour's biggest expansion yet - the 16,500 sq ft Gringotts Bank.

Fans of the franchise can walk through the grand halls where Wizard's galleons, sickles and knuts are stored which are run by goblins and guarded by dragons.

As well as this you can explore the classic parts of the tour including Dumbledore's office, Forbidden Forest, the Weasley's house and the Great Hall.

What's new for 2019?

There's plenty of new additions to the Harry Potter Studio Tour for 2019, so whether you're seeing it all the for the first time or you're returning here's what you can expect this year.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank - from April 6

The studio tour is revealing its biggest ever expansion to date in April when it opens the doors to Gringotts Wizarding Bank. From Harry Potter first discovering Diagon Alley to the famous trio escaping on a Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon in their quest for a Horcrux, it played an important role in the Harry Potter film series and now fans of the series can walk through the permanent feature to the tour.

Dark Arts - September 27 - November 10

A popular time for many visitors is Halloween, and returning for 2019 is the Dark Arts experience where guests can try out their wand combat techniques against a Death Eater and even walk down a spookier Diagon Alley.

This addition is perfect for Halloween as the atmosphere will be much different to normal as street lights will be dimmed and music will become more foreboding as you walk throughout the studio tour.

Hogwarts in the Snow - November 16 - January 26

This year will see the return of the tour's hugely popular festive feature, Hogwarts in the Snow.

The festive makeover will see part of the Great Hall transformed for the Yule Ball, the Gryffindor common room dressed for the season and a blanket of filmmaking snow covering the majestic Hogwarts castle model.

How long does the tour take?

There is no time limit on your tour, however an average visit to the Harry Potter Studios takes approximately three and a half hours.
