Currys PC World launch huge half price sale including Google, Shark and Samsung – Mirror Online

Amazon Prime Day is just over a week away, where the online tech giant will launch 48 hours worth continuous deals. So Currys have decided to beat them to the chase, by launching a massive sale event a week before Amazon's.

Currys huge Black Tag summer event has up to 50% slashed across top brands including Google, Shark and Samsung, as well as hundreds of other electrical items.

Launching both online tonight from 8pm and in store from Saturday 6th July, the offers will end at the same time as Amazon's - on the 16th July.

We've listed out some of our favourite deals from the summer sales event below, which includes key products like Google Smart Home and Google Mobile devices, JVC televisions, Samsung Fridge Freezers and Shark cordless vacuum cleaners.

Being the UK’s largest electrical retailer, Currys predict that 7.4 million daily unique users are predicted to visit the currys.co.uk website over the course of the event.

While most people wait until Black Friday for a new telly, the summer sales events now offer huge discounts that often beat or match Black Friday prices.

Obviously there's no guarantee the price won't drop even further but if you're taking your bets on a TV with a hefty discount - this is probably it.
