Kendal Calling tickets for 2020 go on sale this week and here's how to get them – Manchester Evening News

Kendal Calling has announced its dates and ticket details for 2020.

The festival will return for its 15th anniversary on July 30 until August 2.

It's set in the Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District and sees people take the trip from Manchester each year to enjoy one of the UK's most popular smaller festivals.

This year's edition wrapped up last weekend with 30,000 guests enjoying live music, comedy and food & drink for its Kendal Calling Goes Jurassic' theme.

It saw headline sets from Tom Jones, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Courteeners and appearances from Doves, Manic Street Preachers, Gerry Cinnamon, Years & Years and KT Tunstall across the weekend.

Our reviewer said it had a 'distinctly Manc feel' which was 'reflected in both the soothingly- familiar Manchester accent of revellers - and the line-up, which is littered with northern talent', as well as being 'one to remember'.

Tickets for this year's festival sold-out and next year is expected to follow suit, but there's a way to get them early and pay just a £15 deposit.

You can find out how to get early bird tickets below.
