Drayton Manor theme park cuts ticket prices with massive discounts – Derbyshire Live

Drayton Manor is offering half-price tickets to help families tackle summer holiday boredom.

The Staffordshire theme park says it is slashing prices after discovering that parents and families "last just three weeks into the summer holidays before they start to feel completely fed up".

A survey found that one in five parents say the summer holidays are the most stressful time of year because they cannot find enough to do as a family.

Half-price tickets are available on the Drayton Manor website from 10am today until Monday, August 19.

Adult prices fall from £39 to £19.50, children aged four to 11 fall from £29 to £14.50, and senior tickets from £30 to £15.

You must book in advance using the website.

William Bryan, managing director at Drayton Manor, said: “For many, the summer holidays are the best time of the year, but we know all too well how difficult it can be to find things to keep the family entertained throughout the six-week break.

“Whether it’s finding the perfect activity for the whole family to enjoy, or trying to stop the kids from moaning about being bored – it seems the holidays can be a real challenge for parents trying to keep everyone happy, particularly after the little ones break up from school.

“That’s why we’re giving parents the opportunity to save their summer, with half-price tickets to Drayton Manor Park, to keep young and old entertained throughout the holidays.”
