Here are the cheapest cinemas in Sussex – The Argus

TWO cinemas in Sussex have been named as some of the cheapest in the country.

The Connaught Theatre in Worthing was named the joint second cheapest in the UK by discount company Vouchify.

A standard adult ticket at the cinema, in Union Place, costs £3.50, putting it at the same level as other cheap cinemas across the country.

The Picturedrome cinema in Bognor was also named joint-second cheapest in the country.

The cheapest cinema in Brighton is Cineworld Brighton Marina, which still comes in at a costly £11.70 per ticket.

But the Orion Cinema in Burgess Hill is much cheaper, at £6.90 per ticket.

Thrifty film fans will find the Gaumont Plaza cinema in Flint, Wales, is the cheapest in the country.

A standard adult ticket there costs £3.

The most expensive cinema in the country is the Electric Cinema in London, where an adult ticket costs £20.

The average ticket in the country costs £9.33, while a child ticket averaged out at £7.25.

Odeon was found to be the cheapest chain in the country, followed by Vue and then Cineworld. Vouchify founder Ryan Leston said: “Always check the prices online and find out if there are any deals. You can find cut-price tickets on certain days of the week or you can look at Family Tickets to save a few quid.”
