Sainsbury's launch new deal to get 10p off every litre of fuel

MOTORISTS will be able to benefit from 10p off a litre of fuel following the launch of a new money-saving deal. Supermarket chain Sainsbury's say the petrol promotion, which starts today (Wednesday, October 30), will run until Monday, November 4. Customers who spend at least GBP60 in their stores in the next few days will be able to get 10p off each litre of petrol and diesel when they top up.

A spokesman from Sainsbury's said the offer will include online grocery orders, provided it is one single transaction that is over the limit. A 14-day coupon will be issued to those who have spent GBP60 or more, which will be able to be redeemed at 306 Sainsbury's fuel stations nationwide. However, the offer won't be able to be redeemed at pay at the pump machines, only filling stations with a counter instead.

The discount will be able to be used to buy unleaded petrol, super unleaded petrol, diesel or LPG up to a maximum of 100 litres.

David Pegg, fuel buying manager for Sainsbury's, told The Mirror: "As we head into the busy festive season we're offering customers 10p per litre off fuel when they spend GBP60 or more on groceries at a Sainsbury's supermarket or online, between 30 October and 4 November."
