Teachers can get free flights to anywhere in the world

Teachers can currently snap up free return flights to any holiday destination of their choosing. Well, specifically there are 90 hotspots to choose from, as the deal is being offered by Qatar Airways, so it needs to be on one of their routes. Still, that's quite a varied choice!

There are 21,000 tickets up for grabs - and all you need to do to claim one is register for free on the Qatar Airways website here. The offer is on a first come, first served basis. There's more good news if you bag a ticket too.

As well as your own free return flights, you'll also receive a voucher for 50% off for another return ticket, which you can use for a family member or a friend. (Or, if you really want to treat yourself, you can use it to book a second trip).

You'll want to register quickly, as the giveaway closes at 2am on Thursday 8th October, at which point all of the free tickets will have been handed out. Of course, with the pandemic there are currently travel restrictions in place, but the good news is that the offers will be valid for travel dates until the 30th September 2021, so there is a generous window in which you could use the tickets. The airline has launched the giveaway to thank teachers "for their vital work in educating young people worldwide during the challenges brought by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic".

The deal is open to teachers from over 75 countries - including the UK - so the airline is releasing a set number every day to give teachers around the world a fair chance of snapping up the offer.

Since 2013, the airline has been a supporter of Education Above All's Educate A Child programme, and invites passengers on its flights to donate to the charity.

Each year, Qatar Airways matches the total number of on board passenger donations.
