CoolPack Technology

A CoolPack battery from Bosch constantly dissipates any heat outwards due to its special housing geometry with cooling fins. As a result, it remains considerably cooler inside than conventional batteries and remains operational over the entire runtime.

Electronic Cell Protection

To protect against battery damage due to overloading, overheating or total discharge, the tool is supplied with CoolPack batteries featuring Electronic Cell Protection (ECP). ECP, along with CoolPack cooling technology, considerably extends battery lifetime.

Bosch Battery Compatibility

Batteries can be chosen for longer runtime or lower weight, according to preference. This tool is compatible with all batteries in its class, from 1.5Ah to 7.0 Ah battery units to suit every working environment.

Lithium Ion Technology

The Bosch Li-ion batteries supplied with this tool use the latest technology to maximise productivity and avoid trouble. Their advantages include fast charging, which means that a spare battery can typically be charged to at least 80% before you exhaust the one on your tool.

The latest Li-ion technology allows Bosch batteries (sold separately) to be charged unusually quickly. It also permits them to be topped up at any time, even if their charge level is still quite high, with no reduction in lifetime.
