Upgraded PlayStation Plus Game Library Includes Dozens of Classics

The launch of Sony’s upgraded PlayStation Plus draws near, and the company on Monday revealed a bunch of the games you’ll get as part of the subscription service’s classic and modern game libraries. The rollout begins in Asia on May 24, in Japan on June 2, before coming to the US on June 13 and Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on June 23.

You only get access to the game library if you opt for one of the new, more expensive tiers. The Extra tier costs £15 a month (£40 for three months or £100 for a year), the Premium tier will set you £17.99 a month (£50 for three months or £120 a year).

If you want to stick to the current PlayStation Plus, which gives access to online multiplayer, cloud storage, two monthly downloadable games and exclusive discounts, you can subscribe at the Essential tier. That costs £9.99 a month (£25 for three months or £60 for a year). New games will be added to all tiers the first Tuesday of each month, and fresh titles will join the Extra and Premium tier catalogs in the middle of each month.
