The Repose Cushion has been designed for use in static chairs where it has proved uniquely comfortable as well as providing effective pressure redistribution. Suitable for use in both acute and community settings. Persons weighing in excess of 139kg. Persons with unstable spinal fractures. Where body shape is such that the person cannot be fully supported by the Mattress. Check device daily to ensure proper inflation level. In case of doubt, repeat inflation procedure with the user off the product. Keep away from babies, small children and pets. Avoid contact with heat and sharp objects.

Indications

Repose products provide effective pressure redistribution for all people at risk of developing pressure ulcers, including those assessed as very high risk. Repose is also appropriate for users with pressure related tissue damage – clinical supervision is advised where the damage is severe.

Directions

Inflate – 1. Remove Repose from tube, refit tubes to form pump 2. Connect valve on pump to valve on device. Push to fit 3. Inflate until you hear air exhausting from pump valve. Stop pumping and wait until you no longer hear air escaping 4. Cover valve using solid end of the valve cap. Turn over with valve away from user. Secure with straps Deflate – 1. Insert open end of valve cap into device valve. Air can now escape 2. Fold and roll up starting at point furthest away from the valve until all air is expelled. Clean and allow to dry 3. Re-fold and re-roll as tightly as possible 4. Replace device into the pump
