Destiny 2: Where is Xur for the weekend of December 2

Seasoned Destiny 2 players know they can count on the elusive merchant Xur to make an appearance with special exotic items every Friday, but what’s not so clear is where you’ll be able to find him. Below, you’ll find a map with a marker that indicates where Xur is, as well as a list of his wares.

Who is Xur?

If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you should know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each character class.

As of The Witch Queen, he now stocks legendary armor and weapons and sells additional exotic weapons with random rolls every week.

Where to find Xur (December 2 to December 6)

The trouble with Xur is finding him. We always know when Xur will show up — at the 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m.

ET reset each Friday. The question is where Xur will be. Previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map.

He’s now unmarked and harder to find each weekend. Here’s where to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, as well as everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week. This week, you can find Xur on the EDZ.

Load into the Winding Cove landing zone and head straight north from there. You’ll eventually reach a rocky cliffside, which you can jump up. Xur will be perched at the top of that cliff, ready to sell you some exotics.

Xur’s wares for this week

Cerberus+1 – 29 Legendary Shards: If you don’t already have the Cerberus+1 exotic auto rifle, you should give Xur a visit this week. This wild weapon has 4 barrels, and your bullets will “shoot erratically” from all of them at once. There’s no gun quite like it, so if you’re a fan of chaotic weapons that can shred enemies in a second, this will be your new go-to.

Wormhusk Crown (Hunter) – 23 Legendary Shards: For dodging Hunters, Wormhusk Crown is a solid exotic choice. This helmet will give you a small health and shield bump when you dodge. So if you’re playstyle is all about retreating from danger, this helmet will help you stay alive a little longer.

Peregrine Greaves (Titan) – 23 Legendary Shards: Exotic titan armor tends to come with some crazy perks, and Peregrine Greaves is no exception to that. This exotic set of legs buffs all of your shoulder charge abilities by giving them extra damage when activated in the air. That means that opponents won’t be able to jump over you when you charge them, making you a threat on land and in the air.

Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Warlock) – 23 Legendary Shards: If Nova Bombs are your super of choice, Skull of Dire Ahamkara is a must-own exotic. This helmet grants you additional damage resistance while using your Nova Bomb, making it easier to cast successfully. Nova bomb kills will also grant you super energy, giving you a nice energy cycle.

In addition, Xur will also sell the following weapons each week as of The Witch Queen. They will have random rolls every week. Both guns cost 125,000 glimmer, 200 legendary shards, one exotic cipher, and one ascendant shard.

Hawkmoon: Hawkmoon was one of the best hand cannons in the first Destiny, and it’s still a beast in Destiny 2. When you get precision kills with this gun, you gain stacks of charges. The final shot in your clip will do more damage based on how many charges you have stored.

Headshot a bunch of thralls, and your last shot will do mega-damage. You just can’t stow the weapon mid-clip or you’ll lose your stacks. Dead Man’s Tale: Dead Man’s Tale is an exotic scout rifle with some similarities to Hawkmoon.

If you chain precision hits together, you’ll cause more damage.

That will also reduce your load speed, so you’ll want to keep a steady aim with this gun to get the most bang for your glimmer.
