World Cup 2022: How to Watch Every Match of the Semifinals Without Cable
Croatia, Argentina, France and Morocco are the four remaining teams in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Today’s semifinal matchup pits two storied teams led by legendary players — Luka Modric and Croatia against Lionel Messi and Argentina — for a spot in the World Cup Final.
Both teams have played well thus far in the tournament, but they both needed wins on penalties to advance to the semifinals. Croatia stunned tournament favorite Brazil by playing to a 1-1 draw and then winning 4-2 on penalties.
Meanwhile, Argentina were ambushed by a late Netherlands comeback in a 2-2 draw before ultimately winning on penalties by a margin of 4-3. They meet today for a spot in the World Cup Final. But the biggest Cinderella story thus far in the tournament is that of Morocco.
The team became the first African nation to reach the quarterfinals of the World Cup since Ghana in 2010 and is now the first African nation to reach the semifinals. It needed staunch defense and a fantastic headed goal from Youssef En-Nesyri to secure a massive upset in the quarterfinals over Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal. Its next task is a date with France, the defending Word Cup champions, in the semifinal.
The first semifinal game between Argentina and Croatia kicks off today, Dec.
13, at 2 p.m. ET (11 a.m. PT) on Fox.

Can I watch live World Cup matches for free?
Yes, but there’s a catch.
Many of the live TV streaming services, listed below, allow free trials that would allow you to watch games for free before having to pay for a subscription. Peacock aired the first 12 matches of the tournament on its free tier, but you’ll now have to upgrade to Peacock Premium in order to catch the remaining games. The broadcasts on Peacock are in Spanish as part of NBC’s Spanish-language coverage.
However, you will be able to watch full-length replays of the games in English minutes after they end on the free ad-supported streaming channel Tubi TV. You’ll have to sign up for an account on the service in order to get the games, but you won’t need a credit card or subscription.
