EASY TO USE – We include instructions for the use of the mouse traps and also have support videos for both setting and placement of the traps. Traps can easily be set by a responsible user and require no previous experience. In addition, our traps can be installed within Roshield rodent bait stations.
MOUSE TRAP KIT SIZE – 6 x Roshield mouse traps , suitable for a low to medium infestation area. Comprehensive instructions are included within the kit, and additional trapping support is available on request. Mouse traps are reusable.
Due to the high strength and damage that can be caused to children and non-target animals we recommend that consideration is undertaken to where the traps are placed. Traps are best placed in areas that mice are active, and when possible directly within enclosed voids such as under floorboards, behind kitchen plinths, attic spaces or lockable sheds. We do not recommend placing traps in the open such as in living environments, under chairs etc. as mice are more cautious and are unlikely to accept them.
If placing in external environments we recommend using our lockable tamper-resistant bait station (not included within listing) which will help prevent children and non-target access. Boxes should be placed around buildings, fence lines and not directly over nesting sites. Kit packs including our box and traps are available to purchase separately.
As with all rodent treatments its important to remove any competing safe food sources, otherwise control can be difficult and lengthy.
How to use our traps
Bait trap within central trigger plate
Simply bait trap with a suitable attractant such as peanut butter, chocolate spread or our popular rodent attractant syringe bait. Cheese is not considered an appropriate bait. Its recommend to also place some bait around the trap to encourage feeding.
Place trap in area of infestation
Find a suitable place to set the trap. This maybe under kitchen cupboards by removing the lower plinths, under floorboards, within a controlled environment such as a lockable shed or attic. If placing externally use within a tamper-resistant bait station.
Set trap by pulling back the top bar
Set trap by pulling back the top bar until it clicks into the rear catch. Once primed you should not touch the front plate. Instructions are included within the package as well as support videos for additional help if required by the user.
Dispose of mouse body in general waste
Once the mouse has been caught simply place body into a bag by hovering the trap over a waste bag and pull bag on the top bar to release mouse into a bag. The body should be doubled bagged, zipped tied and disposed off in general waste.
