Bergman’s electric weeding machine kills weeds on your patio, paths and driveway without resorting to hazardous chemicals or a gas-powered flame-thrower.
It uses intense heat to burn the weeds, but produces no physical flame – and of course needs no fiddly gas cylinder refills either. The machine heats up to 650 degrees C at the touch of a button, and you simply hold it over the offending weed until it shrivels up, cauterised right down to its roots.
A cone-shaped guard ensures accuracy and protects any nearby plants. We tested it on some long-established weeds including dandelions, and they’ve never made another appearance.
Unlike gas versions, our electric weeder uses no flammable gas canisters or harmful chemicals, and there’s no dangerous naked flame, either.
Lightweight and easy to use, the unit is 1.12m long which means no bending or stretching, and it weighs less than two bags of sugar.
Plus, the protective cone prevents accidental damage to nearby plants.
Supplied ready assembled, with a superior 26cm long aluminium heat exhaust.
