The SDS max-9 BreakThrough drill bit is ideal for drilling large and deep holes in concrete. Its 3-cutter tip made of fine grain tungsten carbide is vacuum brazed and hardened to ensure fast results and good removal of large pieces of material. The long, conical shank of the drill bit enables break-through drilling, while its two U-shaped flutes ensure effective removal of dust. The drill bit is intended for apertures with diameters between 45 and 80 mm in concrete, masonry and lime sand brick, e.g. for securing cables and pipes outdoors. It is designed for use with rotary hammers. Note: To avoid overloading, make sure you are using a rotary hammer with sufficient capacity for break-through drill bits. Observe the operating instructions for the rotary hammer.
