The Draper XP1000 interchangeable VDE torque screwdriver set comes with a selection of 19 commonly used screwdriver tipped blades for electrical applications. The variety of screw tips makes this a perfect edition for torque-controlled tightening of screws, this can help avoid damaging screws and tools while ensuring a safe and secure screw connection. The adjusted scope ranges from 1.0Nm to 5.0Nm with an accuracy of +/ – 6%. The new design has ensured that the handle and blade sleeves have been designed in two pieces, ensuring that the blades fit deep into the handle, ensuring there’s nothing that could spark (no flashover). The ergonomic soft-grip bi-material handles allows for free spinning in the palm of your hand to quickly tighten screws, while also allowing for the transfer of torque when needed. With flat sides to prevent them from rolling off surfaces. A loop through hole that allows for a lanyard or wrist strap to be attached, ensuring working at a height is done safely. Each VDE interchangeable blade has been individually tested to 10,000V suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The VDE interchangeable blades have been made from premium steel for added strength to deliver a fast and easy press with an auto-lock action with a simple release method. An additional precision screwdriver handle allows for aa complete versatility within one set.
