Heated airer slashed to £39.99 from £99.99 and costs just 8p to run

A deals site has slashed the price of their heated airers by more than half to help shoppers cope with rising energy bills and the cost of living crisis. Discount Experts has launched two heated airers on their site which have been reduced from GBP99.99 to GBP39.99. Shoppers can choose from non-winged or winged versions of the airers which cost just 8 pence an hour to run.

The price for both heated airers will only last for another six days so shoppers are being urged to buy before Tuesday, February 7 to cash in on the cheaper price. The Quest non-winged airer has been reduced from GBP99.99 to GBP39.99, a discount of 60% and is foldable for easy storage. The winged airer from Quest features 18 heated bars so it can hold more clothing, and has been reduced from GBP99.99 to GBP49.99.

The bars are made from aluminium and the frame is made from a durable plastic. The heated airers have been described as a “great for in the colder months when the sun can’t dry clothes, and users can easily switch the heating on and off with a simple button.” Heated airers have become a popular energy-saving product in recent months as many householders are choosing to use them instead of a tumble dryer due to the different in price.

For example, a tumble dryer can cost an average of GBP2 per cycle to run whereas many heated airers struggle to get to the GBP2 mark over a 24 hour period. For big families who often have heavy loads of laundry, they can save themselves a fortune by opting for a heated airer. Shoppers who choose to buy the airers from Discount Experts will need to pay GBP9.99 for delivery and buyers can expect to get their airer within 10 to 14 working days.
