This is our overall favorite phone.

The Pixel 6A (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is powered by Google’s Tensor chip, which gives it some of the smartest features of any phone, including Assistant Voice Typing for really responsive speech-to-text typing, as well as top-notch photo-taking capabilities. It doesn’t hurt that despite being one of the best phones, it’s also one of the cheapest, even more so with this deal. Keep in mind that Google is expected to announce a successor, the Pixel 7A, in May.

In the Android world, you can’t get much better value than the Pixel 7 (8/10, WIRED Recommends).

This handset comes with day-long battery life, some of the best cameras on a smartphone, face unlock, and all the intelligence that Google brings to the entire Pixel lineup. If you want a great 5X optical zoom camera and a slightly bigger screen, then go for the Pixel 7 Pro, which is also on sale for £749 (£150 off).

This is one of the lowest prices we’ve ever tracked on the OnePlus 10 Pro (7/10, WIRED Recommends), which is last year’s flagship Android phone from the company. It’s one of the most powerful phones you’ll find for this price, so if you’re after a speedy smartphone, this is a good option.

It will get two more OS upgrades and three more years of security updates.

When you need a barebones phone while spending as little money as possible, the Galaxy A14 5G (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is our top pick for Android phones under £200. It features two-day battery life, solid performance, and a decent screen, given its price. It works on every major US network. 

Most phones aren’t really designed with hardcore gaming in mind, but the Asus ROG Phone 6 is one of the few that is.

It packs a massive, 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 165-Hz refresh rate and 12 gigabytes of RAM. The large battery and cooling tech can keep you gaming for long stretches, and Asus has some unique accessories to improve the experience. A ROG Phone 7 is on the way, but this is still a good buy.

Apple Airpods Max

Apple’s AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED Recommends) are our top pick for wireless headphones if you’re an iPhone user. They have rich bass, a handy volume knob, and excellent integration with Apple devices. They don’t go on sale much, and when they do the discount isn’t huge, but this is one of the best prices you’ll find.

The Pixel Buds Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends) are our favorite AirPods Pro alternative if you’re an Android user.

They come in a variety of colors, have excellent noise canceling, and have seven hours of playtime on a full charge. They also easily switch between multiple paired devices.

These headphones from Bose come with excellent digital signal processing (DSP) that helps isolate your voice from background noise. This makes it a great option for anyone who needs to make regular phone calls or chat in games.

These Sony earbuds (7/10, WIRED Recommends) have excellent noise-canceling tech to drown out the world around you.

The case supports wireless charging, there’s quick pairing with Android phones (they’ll connect just fine with iPhones), and they’re topped off with an amazing eight hours of battery life. If you have small ears, they might not be for you. Read how they stack up against the competition here.
