13 great deals on TVs, headphones and office equipment
I live in Portland, Oregon, where we’ve had one of the gloomiest, wettest winters on record. This week saw our first warm temperatures in months, which means it’s time for some good spring cleaning. If, like me, you’ve found a few holes in your tech arsenal (and a pocket full of hand-me-downs to donate to charities like Free Geek), now’s a great time to check out these deals.
We found discounts on TVs, soundbars and home office equipment, not to mention a MacBook Air deal.
There are several other spring sales now and we’ve rounded them up, from deals on camera backpacks and smartphones to sex toys and smart home gadgets.

Samsung The Frame Photo: Walmart
If you’re looking for a smaller TV for your apartment or home office, this is a great option as it can do double duty.
The organic LED display means perfect black levels for movies, but the extremely low input lag also makes this a fantastic gaming monitor for both PCs and consoles.
Why should the TV be such a visually central part of our spaces? With the Samsung Frame, the TV is designed to look like famous art when you’re not using it. It’s a slick little party trick, and one that allows you to hang this TV on any wall where you’d normally place artwork, saving the aesthetics of your space while still giving you the option to watch Netflix.
The picture quality of the TV itself looks a bit poorer than other models in this price range, but the ability to disappear is a pretty useful feature for the aesthete.
This is a perfect TV for a bedroom, dorm or any other small place where space and financial needs are limited. It has Roku built in, which means access to just about any streaming service, and three HDMI ports means it can connect to a computer, console and disc player all at once.

The prices of this TV have been fluctuating lately, so this is a nice discount. This is the right size TV for most larger modern living rooms, and it comes with perfect black levels, LG’s Wiimote-like magic remote and a central pedestal stand that makes it easy to place on existing TV stands.
It’s amazing how far the prices of OLEDs like this have come down; a few years ago there would have been thousands.
Surround sound is a great way to take your viewing experience to the next level. I haven’t personally tried this model in Samsung’s lineup, but I’ve tried soundbars on the higher and lower end and have been impressed by the company’s tuning and ability to bounce sound around a room. This model comes with a wireless subwoofer and surround back speakers for true physical immersion.

Apple MacBook Air Photo: Apple
It’s still an expensive little computer (7/10, recommended by WIRED), but the latest M2 MacBook Air has enough performance for most people, and it comes with a MagSafe charger so you don’t accidentally take your laptop off. the desk rips as you trip over the cord.
Having a big, sturdy screen is my favorite way to work. This large model from LG allows you to place two full windows side-by-side, which is perfect if you need to refer to several things at once at work.
I also like the curved base it comes with, which makes it stable on most desks despite its size.
If you shoot videos, record music or take a lot of photos, it is very useful to have a huge external storage drive to meet all your data needs. This one comes at a hefty discount right now, making it a great time to grab an extra. Read our Best Portable External Storage guide for more information.
Branch ergonomic chair

Enter code SPRING at checkout to see the discount. This is our favorite office chair for most people. It is comfortable, has multiple adjustment points and looks attractive.
It also worked well enough for different height ranges and genders in our testing. Find out more in our Best Office Chairs guide.
The best way to check out VR for the first time is with a Meta Quest 2 (9/10, WIRED Recommends). The all-in-one unit can map your space and you can play all the Meta-approved games in the extensive library.
You can also pair it with a PC for PC-based VR games on Steam and elsewhere. The larger size of the hard drive in this one means you can store more games. It comes with Wave+ And Space Pirate Trainer.

BeatsFitPro Photo: Beats
It’s not the cheapest we’ve seen of our favorite workout earbuds, but they’re still cheaper than Apple’s usual £200 list price. I like how easily these stay in my ears, with rubber fins keeping them in place during even the most vigorous activity.
It’s not the biggest discount we’ve ever seen for this, but at £70 off their usual list price, these premium noise-canceling earbuds from Sony (7/10, WIRED Recommends) are definitely worth buying over AirPods Pro for the same price.
You get better sound quality And noise cancellation than Apple can offer here, plus an IPX8 water-resistance rating, meaning they’re better for the gym.
These earbuds (8/10, WIRED recommended) work with Android and iPhone, but have a few extra features when used with the former. They are comfortable in the ears, look attractive and sound great for the price. It’s just a pity that there is no support for wireless charging.
If you can shell out a bit more, the Pixel Buds Pro are also on sale for £150 (£50 off) with improved sound quality and great noise cancellation. The case supports wireless charging. .
