Fallout: New Vegas Is One of the Greatest RPGs Ever Made
On sale for £6.59 (regular price £19.99; 67% off)
Fallout is constantly hailed as one of the best first-person RPG franchises of all time, and New Vegas is the best game in the series. Players take control of the Courier, a postal worker who is ambushed, robbed, and left for dead at the start of the game by a mobster named Benny. The Courier sets out to take back what was stolen from him, though players never have to actually pursue that role and are free to explore the game’s open world in a non-linear way.
While its FPS gameplay mechanics aren’t as well refined as some newer entries in the series like Fallout 4, New Vegas is still an enjoyable experience that stands the test of time due to its RPG elements and storyline alone. The game features multiple possible endings, all of which coincide with the choices the Courier makes throughout the proceedings. Ultimately, getting one of the greatest RPGs in gaming history for under £7 is more of a steal than Benny could ever hope to pull off.

Disco Elysium Presents a Game-Changing Narrative
On sale for £9.99 (regular price £39.99; 75% off) Disco Elysium is a narratively driven RPG, heavily focused on dialogue and open-world exploration viewed from an isometric perspective. The game follows a detective with amnesia who is uncertain of his own identity.
In learning about himself and what caused him to lose his memory to begin with, he embarks on a strange, mysterious quest that further makes him question his identity in a new way. Despite having little in the way of combat, Disco Elysium received multiple Game of the Year awards due to its plot and beautiful art style, proving that a great storyline can be enough to deliver a powerful impact. Sometimes the feelings conveyed by a video game can be priceless, so getting Disco Elysium at £9.99 is a real steal.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Is One of the Biggest & Best Gaming Experiences
On sale for £14.99 (regular price £49.99; 70% off)
Building off the book series of the same name, The Witcher is a cultural phenomenon that now spans several artistic mediums. Geralt of Rivia has become a household name, but even gamers who never read or watched him in action will enjoy slaying monsters with him in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As far as games are concerned, The Witcher 3 not only took the franchise to the next level but also influenced the entire action RPG genre as a whole.
With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, players get the classic game in its entirety, as well as both the Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine DLC expansions, adding over 50 hours of additional content. This is already a highly recommended game, so picking it up for 70% off is a no-brainer. RELATED: The Witcher: Yennefer’s Complicated History With Geralt of Rivia
Horizon Zero Dawn Looks Just as Gorgeous as Ever
On sale for £16.49 (regular price £49.99, 67% off)
Horizon Zero Dawn is the hit game that spawned the Horizon series, including its direct sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. Not only did it formulate the gameplay that Forbidden West expanded on, but Zero Dawn also introduced audiences to Horizon‘s beloved protagonist, Aloy — a hero renowned for breaking the conventions of the standard over-sexualized female game protagonist. Like Forbidden West, Zero Dawn offers a huge open world to explore, beautifully cinematic animations, and a deep combat system that supports various playstyles.
Gamers can confront the huge machines that have overrun Aloy’s world using ranged weapons, close combat, and even stealth. Despite being released over five years ago, this is a game that still holds up in terms of visuals and gameplay today, and at a fraction of its asking price, now is as great a time as any to give it a try. Cyberpunk 2077 Has Grown Into the Game It was Meant to Be
On sale for £29.99 (regular price £59.99; 50% Off)
While it got off to an infamously rocky start, Cyberpunk 2077 always had a terrific game underlying its bugs. As the years have gone by, the game has received numerous updates and patches, and most of those issues have been left in the past. That being the case, Cyberpunk 2077 is a must-play trendsetting game and still one of the best-looking games on the market today.
Featuring a large open world and a plethora of customization options, both in terms of aesthetics and combat style, Cyberpunk almost manages to live up to the overwhelming hype it had before it was first released in 2020.
While buying it at launch would have likely proved disappointing, in its current, more polished state and with a discounted price tag, Cyberpunk 2077 is worth every penny.
