a complete smartphone on sale for barely 100 €
With its Redmi smartphones, Xiaomi has established itself as an essential reference in entry-level models, and it is not because they are sold at a bargain price that they are bad for all that. The Xiaomi Redmi 10C is one proof among others and it is currently even more attractive with this promotion lowering its price from 169.90 euros to only 103 euros on Cdiscount. The Xiaomi Redmi 10C is presented as a version lite of the Xiaomi Redmi 10, but which is still better than the original model on certain points.
Performance and autonomy are particularly in the spotlight on this entry-level model which is currently benefiting from a reduction of almost 40% on its starting price.
The Xiaomi Redmi 10C in brief
- A screen that holds up
- A big autonomy
- A rather surprising price/performance ratio
Instead of the usual 169.90 euros, the Xiaomi Redmi 10C (with 64 GB of storage) is now available on sale at only 103 euros at Cdiscount.
A smartphone designed to do the bare minimum
For this price, do not expect an attractive design or quality finishes. The look is similar to that of the Xiaomi Redmi 10 except for the photo module on the back which adopts a more square shape and the teardrop notch on the front. The 6.71-inch screen is an IPS LCD panel in HD+ resolution (720 x 1,650 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Definition and brightness are limited, but we’re not going to quibble too much at this price -there. The camera consists of two rear sensors: a main wide-angle sensor of 50 Mpx (f / 1.8) and a depth sensor of 2 Mpx (f / 2.4). You also have a 5MP front sensor (f/2.2) and the set is capable of shooting up to 1080p 30 FPS.
If the main sensor offers rather good shots, the other two are rather anecdotal. In terms of storage, you have 64 GB of space when purchased, but you can expand it up to 1 TB with a microSD card.
Amazing performance and battery life
The Xiaomi Redmi 10C costs only 103 euros at the moment, but its performance/price ratio is most surprising. Inside we find an eight-core Snapdragon 680 chip with an Adreno 610 GPU and assisted by only 3 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
It is however sufficient to execute tasks and software quickly and gaming is even possible. You will invariably experience slowdowns on resource-intensive games such as Fortnite And Genshin Impact. Autonomy is also a strong point with this Redmi 10C, on the one hand thanks to its 5,000 mAh battery and the energy efficiency of the Snapdragon 680 on the other.
Without forcing, you can count between one and two days of autonomy, which is quite honorable, especially at this price. Recharging is limited to 18W, however, so it will take you just over two hours to top up. But, once again, for 103 euros, you have a good reference for an entry-level model.
