Charity shop takes over store front in Church Square Shopping Centre

Previously located in The Hardshaw Centre, Claire’s House charity shop raises money for the children’s hospice with donations from the public in the form of furniture, clothes and bric-a-brac. The Church Square store will be split over two storeys, spanning 2,636 sq ft. in total.
The former Geek Retreat store Trading as a discount store, all clothing items will be sold at GBP1.99 or less, with the branding of the store reflecting this.
Claire’s House accepts donations, and shoppers are strongly encouraged to bring donations down to the store when possible. Taking over the ex-Geek Retreat unit, the Church Square store commences trading at 10am on Wednesday April 19, with the store adopting the opening hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, with an exception of 10am to 4pm on Bank Holidays. The store will not open for trading on Sundays.
