Daily Deals: $100 Off Xbox Series X Bundle, 65″ LG Evo C2 4K OLED TV for $1499.99

Today’s daily deals include a rare discount on an Xbox Series X gaming console, the lowest price we’ve seen this year on a 65″ LG Evo C2 OLED TV, discounts on both Apple AirPods and AirPods Pro truly wireless earbuds, some big drops on storage expansion for your Nintendo Switch and PS5 consoles, and more.

65″ LG Evo C2 4K OLED Gaming TV for £1499.99

Woot is offering a brand new LG Evo C2 65″ 4K OLED TV with full manufacturer’s warranty for £1499.99. That’s cheaper than Amazon’s best price during Black Friday. The LG C2 is one of the best TVs on the market, especially for current gen console gaming.

It has four HDMI 2.1 ports and a native 120Hz panel that supports true 4K @ 120Hz passthrough when paired with a PS5, Xbox Series X, or RTX 30 series equipped PC.  There’s also variable refresh rate (VRR), which is this TV’s version of adaptive sync technology, as well as auto low latency mode (ALLM), where the TV automatically switches to a lower latency when it detects gameplay. The LG C2 also supports HGiG, which is automatically calibrated tone mapping specific to your TV model. Woot is owned by Amazon.

15% Off Xbox Series X Bundle

This deal probably won’t last. Verizon is offering the Xbox Series X gaming console bundled with the Xbox Elite 2 Wireless Controller (the OG black version with all of the accessories) for £579.98 after a £100 instant discount.

This is the Xbox Series X (not S) that’s able to drive 4K games at up to a glorious 120fps and has a built-in disc drive for playing physical game media and 4K Blu-ray movies. It is technically a more powerful system than the PS5 and in most of the games that are available on both platforms, the game performs slightly better on the Xbox console.

Apple AirPods 2 for £89.99

Pick up a pair of Apple AirPods 2 wireless earbuds for close to the lowest price we’ve seen. If you don’t need the noise cancellation, then these are currently more than 50% cheaper than the AirPods Pro.

They’re still a great pair of truly wireless earbuds with seamless iPhone compatibility, great sound quality, and a solid battery life.

2nd Gen Apple AirPods Pro for £199.99

The 2nd gen Apple AirPods Pro truly wireless noise cancelling earbuds is back down to Black Friday pricing. Amazon currently has it for £199.99, a price drop of £50. The Apple AirPods Pro is one of the best sounding “truly wireless” earbuds you’ll find, especially at this price point. “Truly wireless” earbuds have no wires whatsoever, even to each other.

In addition to the excellent sound quality, the AirPods Pro is the only AirPods earbuds with active noise cancelling technology.

New 2022 Dell XPS Intel Core i7-12700 Alder Lake RTX 3060 Ti Gaming PC for £1099.99

This particular config comes equipped with a 12th gen Intel Core i7-12700 Alder Lake 12-core CPU, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU, 16GB of DDR5-4400MHz of RAM, and dual storage drives (512GB SSD and 1TB HDD). The RTX 3060 Ti is about as powerful as the previous generation’s RTX 2080 SUPER; its definitely the best video card for 1080p gaming without spending more on needless power. There’s a big performance jump from the RTX 3060 to the RTX 3060 Ti, but a much smaller one from the RTX 3060 Ti to the RTX 3070.

Crucial P5 Plus 2TB PS5 SSD for PS5 for £122.99

Crucial’s newest M.2 SSD meets all the requirements for your PS5 SSD upgrade.

It supports transfer speeds of up to 6,660MB/s which is well above the 5,500MB/s minimum threshold. Yes there are faster SSDs out there, but if your intention is to put this in your PS5, then that extra speed is worthless because you’re bottlenecked by the original PS5 SSD. If you’re worried about opening up your PS5 case, don’t worry it’s very easy. Crucial has an official YouTube PS5 SSD install guide to see you through the process.

Samsung 1TB PS5 SSD for £79.99

Samsung SSDs need no introduction.

They’ve made some of the most popular and reliable PS5 SSDs on the market. The 980 Pro has been out for a while now, but it’s still one of Samsung’s fastest M.2 PCIe SSD, with only the newly released 990 Pro being faster. It is fully PS5 compatible in terms of form factor and performance, with blistering speeds of up to 7,100MB/s.

It goes toe to toe with other well-known options like the WD Black SN850 and the Seagate Firecuda 530.

Samsung EVO Select 512GB Micro SDXC Card (Nintendo Switch Compatible) for £39.99

Amazon has the Samsung EVO Select 512GB Micro SDXC card for the lowest price we have ever seen. This card is 100% compatible for the Nintendo Switch console. The Switch only comes with 32GB of built-in storage, which is a paltry amount considering The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild takes up 14GB of storage all by itself.

This card increases your storage by a whopping 16 times!

Alienware Aurora R14 RTX 3080 PC for £1499.99

This config is equipped with a liquid-cooled AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core processor, RTX 3080 GPU, 16GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The RTX 3080 is the best card you can get if you’re looking for a GPU that’s powerful enough to run games at 4K @ 60fps at the lowest price. I myself currently run an RTX 3080 equipped system paired with a 4K display and I can run Elden Ring, Genshin Impact, and Hogwarts Legacy just fine at a steady 60fps.

Of course, an RTX 4080 or 4090 would allow you to turn on ray tracing while maintaing the same fps, but honestly, is that worth an extra £800-£1800? The liquid cooled Ryzen 7 5800X is a generation old, but it’s still an excellent gaming and workstation processor that pairs very well with the RTX 3080. Other features include an 80PLUS Platinum 750W power supply and a clear side panel to show off your interior components.

HP ENVY RTX 3070 Gaming PC for £1229.99

Here’s a pretty nice deal on an excellent gaming PC for around £1200.

This HP ENVY PC features a 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900 16-core Alder Lake CPU, GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. The Intel Core i9-12900 is one of the best CPUs available… you’d need to get an Intel Raptor Lake or AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU to get anything as good or better. The RTX 3070 is a very solid video card for this price level; it will easily get you 60fps+ at up to 1440p gaming.

Mario Day Deal: Buy a Nintendo Switch Console with Mario Red Controllers, Get Free Game of Your Choice

Mario Day is officially here!

All the Switch video games might have gone on sale earlier, but the Switch console bundle exclusive to Mario Day just went live. Not only do you get the Nintendo Switch console with the rare Mario Red Joy-Con controllers, you also get to choose one game among these three: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, or Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. This is a more tempting deal than what we saw on Black Friday, which was a Switch with Neon controllers and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the same price.

PS5 Digital Edition in Stock on Amazon

We’ve seen the £500+ PS5 Disc Edition consoles and bundles regularly available, but the £399 PS5 Digital Edition is definitely harder to find.

The PS5 Digital is exactly the same as the £500 PS5 Disc Edition minus the Blu-ray drive. Unlike the gimped Xbox Series S, it has the same power and performance as its more expensive sibling.

TCL Alto 8+ Dolby Atmos 3.1.2ch Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer for £99

The TCL Alto 8+ (TS813) is a 40″ soundbar that boasts eight separate drivers with Dolby Atmos support and a dedicated center channel for clear dialogue. The separate wireless subwoofer pumps out stronger and cleaner bass than any internal sub can offer.

It’s Roku ready out of the box, features bluetooth for wireless streaming, and has HDMI passthrough with supports 4K and Dolby Vision passthrough over HDMI.
