A do-it-yourselfer has revealed how she transformed her garden on a budget using bargains from Aldi and B&M – and people can’t believe the difference it’s made. Issy Price shared how she kick-started the glow-up by giving her patio a shine, before painting her shed and adding budget-friendly upholstery to complete the look.

The online content creator, known online as @issyprice, regularly shares her slick home makeovers with her 57,700 followers. In a new TikTok, she said: “This is how I redesigned our patio at the back of our garden a bit.

“I started with a good jet wash. “I decided to paint the shed white and blue, so this is where I put the first coat. Then the second layer you can see is much better.

“Then I went to Homebase and bought some pretty flowers. Brought her home. “Then I started painting the window and door blue.

I added a bit of white because the blue was really dark. “Then I drove some nails into the roof of the shed so we could all hang our solar lights.” Buyers can purchase identical outdoor string lights from a variety of retailers including Amazon, with prices starting at GBP12.97.

She continued, “Took the tape off. hung up the lights “Then I made fabric decorations. All these pillows are from Aldi, love them.

They are waterproof.” These outdoor cushions are available in a range of sizes, colors and patterns with prices starting at GBP12.99. ` Issy added, “I have some artificial plants to hang on the fence.”

“More pillows, and then I added the flowers I got from Homebase, which are supposed to be more blue, but that’s fine. “I also got solar powered lighting from B&M. It was all really cheap, affordable stuff.”

The wooden-handled, solar-powered lanterns are available both online and in-store, and cost buyers just GBP10. Finally, Issy added: “And here’s the finished product. And for anyone wondering, the carpet is TK Maxx.”

Fans loved her quick and easy transformation, with the video garnering more than 2,900 likes and 106,900 views. In the comments, TikTok users shared their reactions, with one writing: “Looks amazing! Well done for creating such an inviting space.”
