Lex, who can be found on TikTok via her profile @lexnicoleta, was eager to pass on her tip to her followers. Showing them a glimpse of her house – specifically her living room – she revealed her secret.

Lex captured one part of the room on film, as she showed her television hanging above a stylish black cabinet covered in coffee table style books. But placed either side of the large, flat screen TV were two simple but stylish lights. The social media influencer explained: “This is truly the best home decor hack to make your space look expensive with minimal effort.

“We hung up these wall lights but didn’t want to hardwire them. “So we got these light pucks from Amazon and just placed them inside the light.” Lex then held up the small but soft LED lights that can be bought from just GBP10 on the shopping website.

The lights, which are then mounted to a surface, are commonly used for under cabinet lighting or even in outdoor spaces. But Lex said they were the perfect addition to her living room lamps and that they “elevate a room.”

She continued: “They come with a little remote so you can just click them on. “And it just makes your space look more elevated. She added that she was “obsessed” with the aesthetic, as she said: “I seriously love how they turned out.”

And her 168k followers on the online platform were all in agreement and said that they even gave the room a fancy “hotel vibe”. One wrote: “I love that they’re a soft yellow, usually those lights are ridiculously bright A second added: “Genius.”
