The NYPBS is a charitable project ran by The National Piping Centre, to create unique individual development experiences for young pipers and drummers throughout Scotland.

The End of Year Concert, 20 Years Young, will feature their three National Ensembles, drawing together some of the country’s most talented young pipers and drummers, performing a varied programme of concert music, including new work developed by young people to celebrate 20 years of the NYPBS!

“We are excited to share what our three National Bands have been working on, during our first fully in-person year since covid, which includes brand new music created by young people through our Emerging Composers project.

“I’ve been so impressed at all of the hard work our participants have put into this performance and amazed at how much brand new music they’ve managed to assemble across a handful of rehearsals!”
