Plusnet broadband deals 2023: Bargains from the BEST provider
Plusnet broadband deals are some of the best around for one good reason: the internet service provider (ISP) is consistently the best in the UK, according to our reviews and your feedback in the Expert Reviews Best Broadband Awards 2023. If you’re after the most reliable connection with the best customer service, it should be your top choice. To help you find the best plan for your needs, we’ve rounded up the best Plusnet broadband deals this month below.
But first things first: why opt for Plusnet? As we mentioned above, we garlanded it with five stars out of five and a coveted Best Buy award in our most recent review, where we almost ran out of superlatives when describing its class-leading customer satisfaction, excellent range of plans (as you’ll see below) and rock-solid reliability. That was backed up by stellar feedback in our annual Best Broadband Awards: it topped four of the six categories, as well as picking up the overall crown for the second year running.
Over 78% of respondents to our survey said they would recommend the ISP to their friends or family – a very impressive total. In short, no one else, with the exception of Now Broadband if you’re on a tight budget, comes close to touching Plusnet at the moment. Read on for our selection of the best Plusnet broadband deals.
The best Plusnet broadband deals this March
1. Full Fibre 74: 74Mbits/sec for GBP27/mth PLUS no upfront fees
First up is Plusnet’s Full Fibre 74 plan, which bags you an average download speed of 74Mbits/sec (with a guaranteed minimum speed of 40Mbits/sec) and an estimated upload rate of 20Mbits/sec for a competitive GBP27/mth on a two-year plan.
That’s more than enough bandwidth to game, stream, browse and work on multiple devices at the same time. Even better, Plusnet is currently waiving its usual GBP20 setup fee and offers Norton-powered online security in the form of its SafeGuard and Protect tools. And, to put the attention-grabbing tariff into perspective, you’d have to pay GBP34/mth for the same speed from BT. That said, you’ll get a lot more bang for your buck with the Full Fibre 145Mbits/sec deal below, which is only GBP1/mth more.
Contract length: 24 months; upfront fee: GBP0 Buy now from Plusnet
2. Full Fibre 145: 145Mbits/sec for GBP28/mth
This is our pick of the Plusnet broadband deals at the moment.
For a mite more than the plan above, you’ll be treated to almost double the download speed (145Mbits/sec) and an extra 10Mbits/sec on the upload side. That’s more than enough to do more or less anything online on any number of devices and, most importantly, is extraordinarily good value. For example, you’d pay GBP30/mth for a slower speed (132Mbits/sec) from Virgin Media and GBP31/mth for roughly the same speed from BT.
Again, the company has binned its usual GBP20 activation fee and you’ll get the same Norton-powered protection as the plan above. All of this adds up to one of the finest broadband deals across the whole of the UK market. Contract length: 24 months; upfront fee: GBP0
3. Full Fibre 500: 500Mbits/sec for GBP40/mth
Last, but certainly not least, is Plusnet’s all-singing, all-dancing Full Fibre 500 plan. As the name suggests, this delivers a screamingly fast estimated download speed of 500Mbits/sec (with a guaranteed 275Mbits/sec) and an upload rate of 75Mbits/sec for GBP40/mth on a 24-month contract.
It’s one for true speed freaks who need to get heavy-duty downloading done, hate it when their games lag or want to stream films or TV in the best quality possible.
As with the other two deals here, there’s nothing at all to pay upfront and you’re getting those handy protection tools too, which are powered by Norton.
