Police arrest two after seizing over $1M in counterfeit clothing from Etobicoke discount store
Toronto Police Service arrested two men after finding over £1 million in counterfeit clothing at a discount store in Etobicoke.
On Feb.
1, police commenced a fraud investigation following reports of counterfeit clothing at Brands Gone Wild at 1255 The Queensway, near Kipling Avenue.
On Friday, officers conducted a search warrant at the location and seized several counterfeit brands, including Nike, Puma, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, worth £1,885,150.
Two Toronto men are facing charges of fraud over £5,000, possession of property obtained by crime and pass off description of wares. They are expected to appear in court in May.
