Report: Global investment bank bullish on Celtic finances …

A global investment bank has recommended to its clients that buying Celtic shares is a bargain in the current market due to the club’s incredibly strong financial position, The Sunday Mail has reported. [26/03 print edition] It’s said by the outlet that Canaccord Genuity has compiled a dossier looking at the financial situation of the Bhoys, predicting that a record GBP112m turnover is on the way in the club’s next set of financial results later in the year. It’s a sign that Celtic are seen as a very stable entity on the up, with the money coming into the club a result of both incredible fan support and sporting success on the pitch.

Ange Postecoglou has the Bhoys on the brink of a second successive qualification to the UEFA Champions League. This year’s Scottish Premiership winners are guaranteed a group stage spot and access to at least GBP30m in additional revenue compared to missing out.
