Some of the best Easter egg bargains in Dublin supermarkets
Chocolate lovers can avoid shelling out on expensive Easter eggs this spring by hitting the supermarket aisles. Experts have warned that the price of sugar has risen considerably in recent weeks, making Easter eggs a more expensive commodity. Damien O’Reilly, a retail management lecturer at TU Dublin, told RTE‘s Drivetime that sugar prices are up by a staggering 30 per cent compared to this time last year.
Nonetheless, supermarkets still have some good deals on offer as Easter rapidly approaches. Aldi have introduced some great value sweet treats, which are available in their 155 stores nationwide.
