Car seat safety is ever-evolving, and all parents-whether they’re first-timers or seasoned pros-can use a little help sometimes. Car seat installation can be overwhelming, and even small errors can affect the integrity of a car seat’s safety. In fact, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a whopping 46% of car seats are installed incorrectly!

The Baby Cubby wants to take the guesswork out of getting that car seat correctly installed, and their Child Passenger Safety (CPS) technicians are here to help! Through required continuing education courses and hours of personal research and team training, The Baby Cubby’s CPS techs are able to remain up to date on the latest technical information regarding child safety. In order to become certified, each prospective tech must attend The National Child Passenger Safety Certification Training Program.

After intensive classroom instruction, they must pass a variety of written tests, demonstrate their knowledge through hands-on skills assessments, and perform safety checks at a check-up event before becoming certified. They learn the ins and outs of car seat  installation possibilities, installing car seats in different vehicles, harnessing methods, and more. While car seat checks are something The Baby Cubby offers to its customers every day, they’re hoping this special Car Seat Check Event with its storewide discount will bring much-needed attention to the fact that parents can (and should) get some extra help ensuring their child’s car seat or booster seat is safely and properly installed in their vehicle-and get to do some fun shopping at The Baby Cubby at the same time!
