In an interview on WLEN on Friday morning, during Mornings with Dale and Tim, Executive Director Jim Southard talked about food insecurity in Lenawee County and how the effects of the pandemic are still being felt with increased demand at food pantries in the region. That combined with food cost inflation has left many more families in need. The Daily Bread serves hot meals Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30am until 2pm. The food pantry is also open at that time. The Daily Bread is funded by monetary, in-kind, and product donations, and grants provided by local foundations and organizations.
