The P/PTSD Perspective: Losing a Speedy WR, a CB Subtraction, & …
PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting their top 5 articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peak at some of their best stuff.
1) Report: The Vikings Have Had “Casual Dialogue” with Speedy WR: A lot of Vikings fans have been preoccupied with reinforcing the WR2 spot. Someone like Mecole Hardman – who is blazingly fast – did make a lot of sense.
In the end, the former Chiefs speedster is going to the Jets.

2) Fan-Favorite Vikings CB Bolts for Vegas: Tough seeing Duke Shelley head elsewhere. The corner doesn’t have a ton of size but he does have a ton of compete. Brian Flores and the rest of the Vikings’ leadership must feel that he isn’t a good fit for the adjusted scheme.
3) The Final 6 Unsigned Vikings Free Agents: Minnesota has done quite a bit to retain their own talent. Quite often, that has even involved bargain deals for the Vikings. It won’t be long before all of the internal free agents get scooped up.
Some of the latest news involves Kris Boyd visiting with the Giants.
4) Another Free Agent CB is Off the Board: The defensive coaching staff and scouts must feel confident in 2 things: 1) the young corners on the roster and 2) the young corners in the draft. Otherwise, it doesn’t make a ton of sense to stay on the free agency sidelines as corners head elsewhere.

5) Former Rams LB is Headed to Minnesota: I’m a fan of the deal. Perhaps he doesn’t make the team, but I’m thinking he’ll be solid LB depth and a strong special team contributor.
He’s a really athletic player who is still relatively young.
Have we seen Kwesi Adofo-Mensah target players like that before?
Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
