Wednesday, March 15
3:02 p.m. — Caller on Dunton Street reports receiving a call from someone telling her that she needed to pick up £2,000 worth of gift cards and that they would be sending an officer to her house the following day. Caller was advised this was a scam and no officer would be sent to her home.
Thursday, March 16
6:00 p.m. — Caller on Vladish Avenue reports a suspicious vehicle has stopped at his house two days in a row.
A man gets out, walks up to the garage door and then leaves. Caller said the man hasn’t knocked on the door or rang the doorbell. The vehicle is a maroon Nissan Altima with black rims.
Although the caller initially said a man got out of the vehicle, they later stated that it could have been a woman, 18 to 23 years old with shoulder-length curly blonde hair, wearing a baseball cap.
9:00 p.m. — Caller on Avenue A reports someone vandalized the elevator. Officer on scene states the ceiling is down, requested the Fire Department come look at it. Officer will also contact building maintenance.
Friday, March 17
11:26 a.m. — Caller at Basically Bicycles on Third Street reports someone dumped trash on his property.
Extra patrols were requested for people who are loitering and leaving bottles and trash behind.
