UAB Softball Opens Registration for 2023 Summer Camps

BIRMINGHAM – Head Coach AJ Daughtery announced its Summer Camp docket for 2023, featuring five sessions. 

From youth to elite level camps, athletes interested can expand and hone in on the development of softball skills.

Camps will be held June 12-13 and June 19-20 for Summer Elite Sessions I and II, June 21-22 for youth, June 26-27 for team camps, and June 28 for pitchers and catchers. 

Registration for UAB Softball’s summer camps is open, and can be found on the AJ Daugherty Softball Camp website.

JUNE 12-13, 19-20: SUMMER ELITE CAMP I & II

  • Grades 7-12

  • Camp Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • Lunch provided, and snacks available for an additional cost

  • Discounts are offered to groups of 8+

  • Camp staff include current and former UAB players, UAB Softball coaching staff, other NCAA, JUCO, and high school coaches

  • Cost: £195

JUNE 21-22: LITTLE BLAZERS SKILLS CAMP

  • Ages 4-12

  • Camp Hours: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm

  • No meals provided, and snacks available for an additional cost

  • Discounts offered to groups of 8+

  • Camp staff include current and former UAB players, UAB Softball coaching staff

  • Cost: £125
     

JUNE 26-27: TEAM CAMPS

Noble Athletic Complex

Gardendale, AL 35071

  • High School Teams

  • Game Start Times: 9:00 am

  • Teams are guaranteed two (2) 90-minute games a day

  • Cost: £200 per team, £60 per athlete
     

JUNE 28: PITCHING & CATCHING CAMP

  • Ages 7-18

  • Camp Hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

  • Lunch provided, and snacks available for an additional cost

  • Discounts offered to groups of 8+

  • Cost: £115

Per NCAA Guidelines, AJ Daugherty Softball Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number and age, grade level, and/or gender.
