airBaltic Club: A Guide To The Latvian Flag Carrier's Frequent Flyer …
Latvia’s national airline, airBaltic, offers a frequent flyer program called airBaltic Club. Aimed at rewarding loyal passengers with a host of benefits, airBaltic’s frequent flyer program has become popular among travelers seeking to enhance their flying experience with the airline.
Different ways to earn points
Perhaps, the most prominent and straightforward way to earn frequent flyer points is by flying with airBaltic. However, airBaltic Club also partners with other airlines, such as Air France-KLM.
In 2022, airBaltic began allowing airBaltic Club members to earn loyalty points on codeshare flights operated by KLM or Air France.

Another standard method of earning frequent flyer points is spending cash while traveling with the Latvian carrier. To do so, simply add your airBaltic Club membership number to your reservation or scan your digital card when making onboard purchases. Earn up to three points for every euro spent on airBaltic tickets and services, one point per euro spent in-flight with the airline, and one point per euro spent on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Air France flights.

In addition to flying and making purchases onboard flights, it is possible to earn frequent flyer points using airBaltic Club partners’ services.
These partners include accommodation and travel agencies such as Booking.com, Rentalcars.com, and SIXT.
airBaltic Club benefits
airBaltic Club members have a range of options for redeeming their accumulated points, including reward flights to destinations across the globe, flight upgrades, airBaltic gift cards, baggage vouchers, and the ability to combine points and dollars to the purchase tickets through the airline’s website. Point redemption options include:
- Mixing cash and points for ticket purchases at airBaltic.com, starting at 10 points.
- Booking reward flights on airBaltic from 4,000 points.
- Reserving KLM and Air France reward flights from 15,000 points.
- Upgrading to airBaltic business class from 6,500 points.

- Buying airBaltic gift cards from 1,667 points.
Different membership levels
As you fly more with the Latvian flag carrier, you can earn higher membership levels in the airBaltic Club, resulting in enhanced benefits. Executive and VIP members get special perks when traveling, such as faster check-in at the airport, VIP customer support, and other exclusive privileges.

To attain Executive status, airBaltic Club members must complete a minimum of 30 one-way flights with airBaltic within a year.
However, the highly coveted VIP status is granted to those who take 60 one-way flights within the same period. In addition to the standard route, travelers can acquire VIP status without flying by purchasing 25 Planies NFTs and linking them to their airBaltic Club account.
Planies NFT
Planies are unique digital collectibles called NFTs, and each one gives you extra benefits as a member of the airBaltic Club. When you link a purchased Planie NFT to your wallet and airBaltic Club account, you’ll get 20 points daily, even if you’re not flying.
Plus, you’ll get upgraded to business class every ten flights with airBaltic.
