As well as the bench, Aldi is also selling the stools and a corner sofa set in the same range and colour choices, and all have glowing reviews on the Aldi website.

Not every shopper was convinced though, with some shoppers claiming the stools ‘could have been a bit higher’. Among the reviews, one shopper said: “The stools are a very good standard, as good as expensive ones in a garden centre. Easy to assemble.

They are sturdy and well finished. Would easily buy the large seat unit now I know the quality.” A second review read: “Great value, look good on my patio and goes well with my existing rattan furniture.

Provides extra seats for unexpected guests. What’s not to like.” A third shopper said: “Nice footstools, great as extra seating too, got to match other furniture bought in previous years and it’s a perfect match.
