DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team is just under two weeks away from hosting Wright State University at Day Air Ballpark, home of the Dayton Dragons. The Flyers and Raiders square off Tuesday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m.

The FlyBoys hope to once again break their attendance record, which was set on the same stage a season ago against Ohio State (3,859). The game’s atmosphere will be festive, with face painting from 6:30 to 8:30, as well as Rudy Flyer, the Dayton Cheerleaders, and the Dayton Flyer Pep Band in attendance. The UD Bookstoore will be present to offer those in attendance a chance to get all the latest Dayton gear, and fans can also win gift cards with contests between innings. 

Giveaways for all fans include 500 Dayton Baseball t-shirts, 250 Dayton Baseball koozies, and entry in a raffle for a throwback Dayton jersey. The first 100 UD students will also receive Chapel Blue trucker hats and Chapel Blue Dayton flags, as well as entry into the throwback jersey raffle. Students receive free admission and transportation from campus to Day Air Ballpark.
