The Mitchell MX1 free spool reel is a reliable, strong and very smooth rotating reel with an accurately functioning free spool system. This is a free-spool feature that can simply be engaged by flipping the small lever on back of the reel. It allows the line to run of the spool in a controlled and low-resistant way without opening the bail.
