From the manufacturer
Digital radio DAB+ with automatic switching DAB/FM
The DAB+ tuner receives the extensive range of digitally broadcast broadcasting programs in fantastic quality free from any noise – and not only in Germany, because digital broadcasting is now available in almost all European countries. “Seamless Blending” allows uninterrupted reception even if the digital signal is temporarily unavailable. Then the receiver switches to the corresponding FM transmitter in a flash, virtually inaudible manner and back again. This listening comfort is made possible by a data buffer, which permanently stores the digital and analogue signal of the selected program and coordinates with each other when switching.
K2 sound tuning technology for digital sources
The K2 technology developed by JVCKENWOOD restores the original sound of a recording by extending the bit rate and frequency range. The K2 technology works with all sources including the CD and expands its recording spectrum to 48 kHz/24 bit for example by reconstructing lost tweeter components.
DSP with runtime correction
The DSP with runtime correction allows the time correct music playback and is individually adjustable for each channel. With the selection of the speaker type used and the respective distance to the listening position, the car radio automatically calculates the ideal delay of each individual channel to ensure a time-correct arrival of the sound at the listener. This achieves an ideal space and location.
Low installation depth
The space-saving electronics with an installation depth of just 10 cm allows installation even in vehicles with particularly short DIN bay.
