PHEROMONE CONTROL – The included Entopest pads emit an artificial sex pheromone (lure) to attract male moths to the adhesive board. Attracting male moths break the insect lifecycle and subsequently helps to monitor, prevent and control infestations. Pheromone is an important method in moth treatments but should not be considered the sole application; especially for established issues. Pheromone lasts for 12 weeks before replacement is required
MOTH SPECIES SPECIFIC – The integrated pheromone will only work with the Common Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella). Limited success can be found with close family species including the Case-bearing Clothes & Pale-backed Clothes Moth but this is not guaranteed. Manufactured in the UK the versatile and narrow design allows for placement within wardrobes, drawers, walls and hard to reach locations such as under furniture. The holders securely hold the adhesive pads away from textiles and other foreign objects whilst allowing pheromone movement and moth entry. The trap holder is reusable and durable
PLACEMENT OF PADS – Users should place pads in areas of known moth activity or where moth activity is suspected such as within wardrobes, carpet and behind furniture; if moths are present they will quickly become attracted to the pads.
