How to Plant Garden Bulb Collection Bulbs:

  1. Choose the Right Location: Select a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Avoid cold, exposed, or waterlogged areas. Full sun or dappled shade is ideal.
  2. Prepare the Soil: Loosen the soil to a depth of 8 cm. If the soil is heavy or clay-based, add grit or organic matter to improve drainage.
  3. Plant the Bulbs: Dig holes approximately 8 cm deep. Place each bulb with the pointed end facing upwards. Space bulbs according to the recommended distance for each variety.
  4. Watering: Water thoroughly after planting. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, especially in the initial growth phase.
  5. Maintain Care: Ensure the bulbs receive adequate sunlight. Keep the soil well-drained and avoid planting in freshly manured soil to prevent bulb rot.
  6. Aftercare: Once the bulbs bloom, continue to water and provide any needed support, especially for taller varieties. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooms.
