How to Use Your Equip Fire Extinguisher

Ensure you remain a safe distance from the fire, a minimum of 2 metres. Holding the extinguisher upright, remove the safety pin.

Point the nozzle at the base of the flames.

Squeeze the lever slowly to begin discharging the extinguisher.

With a sweeping motion, direct the nozzle across the area of the fire until all the flames are out. Ensure all the fire has been extinguished, re-ignition can be possible when a powder fire extinguisher has been used.
